Petershill travelled to Beechwood Park for their last game of the season, already having more points than at the end of last season. Talbot were still battling for points to get away from the drop zone at the foot of the table. Petershill took a 61st minute lead when a Gerry Joyce pass was flicked on for Stevie Dallas to chase, he ran in to the box and crossed the ball past the advancing Talbot keeper for Max Asante, who stuck it away from just inside the 6 yard box. Talbot drew level in the 68th minute, Danny McKelvie firing a 20 yard free kick into the top right hand corner. Despite having Gary Wild sent off with 10 minutes left, the Peasy held out for a 1-1 draw.
Apologies for the late update, but due to an accident and some technical problems with the supporters bus, I did not get home until very late after the match.
